LORD OF THE RINGS

FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING

. The book I’m reading right now is the Fellowship of the Ring. It is written by, J.R.R. TOLKIEN.  The fellowship of the ring starts off when Bilbo an elder hobbit is getting older. He is rich because of his adventure he took when he was younger which paid off with a huge reward. He had an announcement one day for his birthday. At the announcement he said that he is done. Bilbo then ran off, but right before he went off he encountered Gandalf (a wise wizard and friend). Gandalf told him to leave his ring behind which made him invisible. They had a argument over the ring. Then Bilbo gave him the ring because he realized weird things were happening to him. Gandalf then gives Frodo the ring (Frodo is Bilbo’s friend who is young). When Frodo gets the ring he knows not to use it, even though it is very tempting. Gandalf told him all about the ring and why it is dangerous and can make someone evil. Gandalf finished by telling him that there is people wanting that ring and enemies.

Frodo is now setting out of the shire because it is too dangerous there. On his trip there he is told that the enemy is black riders. Frodo then makes his way to a town for a night. When he entered the town it was a bit mysterious because people were excited he was from the shire and very questionable. He then finds an inn to stay for the night. That evening he was at a there and he was talking to other people. He then was called up to do a song. After he finished his song he slipped and the ring fell on his finger. Everybody was very confused. After the party he met with a man who said to watch what he’s doing because he knows a lot about the shire and misty mountains. That is where I’m a through my book.
