What We Are Learning In Science
In Science we have learned many things. The first things we learned were scientific inquiry, scientific theory, design process, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS). After that we learned about Particle Theory of Matter. In that unit we learned the states of matter, how to calculate Specific Heat Capacity (SPC), changes in states of matter, and different types of energy (ex. Potential energy, kinetic energy, etc.).
We are starting the second part of Particle Theory of Matter. So far we have learned about pure substances and mixtures. We learned about mechanical mixtures. Also we learned about solutions, solutes and solvents. We learned about the difference between heterogeneous and homogeneous. The difference is that heterogeneous is a mixture of two substances that are mixed, but remain visible; homogeneous is a mixture that is mixed really well that it looks like one substance.

Sports by Lado

    My blogger paragraph

My topic is about school sports, I did school sports because I like sports, and it is the easiest thing to do. Some people couldn’t decide between two sports. Two people were missing so I only got 26 votes. The options were basketball, volleyball, soccer, doge ball, badminton, and track and field. The closest two sports were badminton and basketball. The least favorite sport was doge ball.
I will show you the results now, Basketball-9 Track and field-2 Badminton-8 Volleyball-2 dogeball-1 soccer-3.This makes me think that basketball and badminton have the highest votes because a majority of the class likes indoor sports rather than outdoor sports, like track and field and soccer but this does not surprise me. It would have been a tie between basketball and badminton  if I didn’t vote, for. In conclusion this is my paragraph on school sports.

What We're Learning in Math

What We Are Learning In Math
In math, we have learned many things. The first thing we learned about was decimal numbers. We learned to use estimation before making an equation. Now, we are on the shape and space unit. In this unit we are learning about angles, parallel line segments, perpendicular line segments, and angle bisectors.

In the shape and space unit, we are learning to use things in our geometry set. We are using the materials provide in the set to help us in this unit. For example, we use a compass to bisect lines. We use the protractor to make and measure angles. We also use a ruler and a right triangle or two right triangles to make parallel line segments. To make a perpendicular line segment, we use a ruler and a right triangle or two right triangles. So far, this is what we’ve been learning in math so far. Thank you.
School subject: art
One of my favourite things to do in school is art. I really like art because of how interesting it is to me, it just makes me calm and you can do anything you want with it, it’s all made up from your head. In art class, we have been learning about drawing guidelines before you draw the picture, and color, I like this technique because you know what your drawing instead of just anxiously starting, and not realizing how you want it to actually look. We also have art scrapbooks for drawing our pictures and different designs.
In art class, we are really close to learning to use a calligraphy set for drawing. I have never used one before, but I am really excited to start using it. Also, in calligraphy, the pens that you use have different colored inks for drawing instead of using lead or graphite. So far, we have just been drawing random characters, but recently, we made pictures with words on posters, and we also have been making up our own characters to draw, only using different body parts. Art is one of my most favourite things to do in my spare time, and it always makes me more creative.

The things we are learning in school are sometimes difficult and sometimes easy. In social studies we are learning about HDI which stands for Human Development Index. We have to take many notes and do worksheets. The first project we did was about communities. We were in groups and had to make a poster about communities and what communities are. The second project we did was about our partner’s culture. All the presentations were interesting. I had fun doing all the projects. The topic we are recently learning about is a good quality of life. On our own, we pick a quote that symbolizes a good quality of life. So far that is what we are learning about in Social Studies.

Competitive Girls Volleyball Game on 16/10/13

The competitive girls had a volleyball game on 16/10/13 and we lost. We played against Immaculate Heart of Mary. In the first set we lost 16 to 25 and in the second set we lost 19 to 25. We played a third set for fun and we also lost that set. We had lots of fun and we really improved from the last game. We have another game on 23/10/13 against Christ the King. We played IHMS at our home gym. We had good sets and good serving.

The Best Author in the WORLD

I don’t know about you… But I am in love with Stephen King Novels. ‘It’, ‘Doctor Sleeps’, ‘The Shining’ and ‘Carrie’ of course! (If you don’t know these books they’ve been out in movie so just search it up in YouTube.) I’ve always wanted to be a writer. That why I started to look up to him. His passion for writing novels and describing the story in every spec of detail. The tension he builds up just by just introducing the conflict. It AMAZING!

Stephen King writes about horror, thrillers, sci-fi, and fantasy. His books has been featured in many movies, T.V shows and comic books too. I could go on but this is going get boring… so let’s just cut to. Stephen King Is A GOD! Btw, I don’t recommend the books that are listed up there to anyone that’s not a fan of surgeon.
